1. No Personal Data Collection
Amble does not collect or store any personal data on external servers.
All your data — including health and fitness data described in Section 2 —
remains on your device only. If the app is deleted or reset, all related
data is permanently erased.
2. Health & Fitness Data
Amble accesses your step count data to provide its core pedometer
functionality.
- What we access: Step count data from your device's motion sensors
(and/or Apple HealthKit / Health Connect, if you grant permission).
- Why we access it: Solely to display your daily step counts, walking
history, and related statistics within the app.
- Where it is stored: All health and fitness data is stored locally on
your device only. It is never transmitted to external servers, shared
with third parties, sold, or used for advertising, marketing, or
analytics purposes.
- Your control: You can revoke motion sensor or health permissions at
any time in your device settings. Uninstalling the app permanently
deletes all stored health data.
Health and fitness data is never shared with the third-party analytics
services described in Section 3 (Firebase, Amplitude).
